Dragon on Your Path?

Dragon

What dragons are impacting you?

I received the message below from a daily sharing ‘by The Universe’ to invite us into considering the importance of the moment, that the dragons in our life might represent our fears, and focus with being clear on where rather than how.

Here is the original message:

It’s not the day you have to manage, but the moment.

It’s not the dragon you have to slay, but the fear.

And it’s not the path you have to know, but the destination.

What a relief, huh?
  The Universe

P.S. Love every moment; nothing can make you less.

I have always loved dragons… and the myths around them so the dragon part of the message grabbed me!

It is an interesting consideration that the fears or resistance in our life experiences could be represented by a intimidating, fire breathing dragon.

Is that dragon blocking your path to what you want to experience?

Drawing from the first part of the message, to manage the moment not the day, is a way to address a fear or resistance.

Rather than being fearful about what might happen… take a small step and see what occurs in reality. Quite often, we spin something out too far and form a fear or resistance to something whose likelihood of actually happening is low.

Taking one small step or action can inform you more about the fear or resistance than only imagining it in your mind.

We also tend to narrow our focus with how something should occur. It is better to clarify the desired outcome and be open and curious about various ways that outcome might occur.

For example, we are currently recording an audio version of our book, ABCs of Murmuration. My co-author had the desire to offer an audio version and started on the path to find a way to have that completed.

There were several challenges discovered, and after two different approaches proved dissatisfying, we put it on hold yet still held the vision. Then, recently a new approach showed up, and we are actively recording now.

There seemed to be dragons in our path, indicating we should not pursue the desired path. Yet, rather than giving up, the outcome was held in mind. And an unexpected opportunity appeared.

Personally, I found my own dragon of self-doubt related to being an acceptable voice for an audio book. I applied PSYCH-K® with my self-doubt and shifted into acceptance with trust in the outcome.

Consider if you are:
  • Staying in the moment or spinning into the future?
  • Being blocked by a dragon or willing to move forward anyway?
  • focusing on the how to of details or clear on the destination and open to new opportunities?

And as the PS in the above message states, love – enjoy and be curious. You may end up discovering the dragon is a teacher and supporter for you to reach your best.

To get something different, from the inside out.

If you have attended a PSYCH-K® workshop, then reflect, create the Goal Statements/ Beliefs to support what you desire, and Balance to integrate your new beliefs. Then take action to demonstrate your commitment.

If you have not attended a PSYCH-K® workshop, then use what you know to transform or contact me about my private session program or find a workshop and learn how to be free to create your future.

In working with me, what is appreciated is the ease and simplicity that the PSYCH-K® approach provides in transforming experiences that hold someone back and to be able to move forward.
