Bliss Moment
- By Robin L. Graham
What creates a bliss moment for you?
And do you stop to appreciate it?
The image is me taking the first bite of the best Reuben I have ever had!
I love Reubens and was okay with the ones I ordered from various restaurants over the years… until about 10 years ago when I ordered one at Taos Cow in New Mexico. Hands down the absolute best ever!
I prefer a turkey Reuben over corned beef or pastrami (forgive me, traditionalist 😜).
I have no idea why this one is sooooo good, but it is.
It has been several years since I have been able to go to Taos Cow until last weekend.
Of course, I had to order and was wondering if it would still be as good.
The picture shows that it is… the only word I can use is BLISS.
I enjoyed every bite of the sandwich (1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for dinner).
When was the last time you had a bliss moment?
What if every action we take had bliss included?
So often we do our daily actions with little to no appreciation or recognition of how wonderful it is.
We take for granted our ability to walk, talk, hear, see, smell, taste, breathe, feel, and love.
When you can’t do something, that is when we learn to appreciate the times you could.
Let’s rearrange that and appreciate every moment – small or large, natural or learned, experienced alone or shared with others, based in nature or inside of a high-rise building… You continue the list.
What are the bliss-filled moments you had yesterday? Last week?
How can you be more aware to recognize a joyful, happy, or awe moment that you express as bliss?
