Perspective Angles

Perspective Angles - October.
What do you see in the image? Three or four logs?

Look again! Can you see that from both angles… both sides… there is truth?

Where in our daily life do we only see a situation, person or opportunity from one perspective?

How limiting is that?

What perspective are we not seeing?

Why would it be beneficial to see from another angle or perspective?

How can you step to the side to see the other person’s point of view and perhaps even shift your own?

The simplest approach is to be open to really listening to understand the other person’s point of view. It does not mean you have to agree with them or their point of view. However, by being open and really listening, you may discover that while you see things differently, there are areas that can be agreed upon.

Part of the listening to each other may also include asking about how the perspective was established… what were their experiences that led to their current perspective?

How is that similar or different from what you experienced as the basis for your perspective?

Rather than disagreeing about who is ‘right’ … it is time to agree to disagree while respecting the life experiences that created each of your unique viewpoints.

Remember, you can transform your perceptions and beliefs that impact your daily experiences and your future possibilities.

Consider what the conflict of differences that you see …personally, politically, culture, religion, etc.

What could you believe differently to be open to listen and understand the other perspective’s angle?

To get something different, you have to shift from the inside out.

If you have attended a PSYCH-K® workshop, then reflect, create the Goal Statements/ Beliefs to support what you desire, and Balance to integrate your new beliefs. Then take action to demonstrate your commitment.

If you have not attended a PSYCH-K® workshop, then use what you know to transform or contact me about my private session program or find a workshop and learn how to be free to create your future.

In working with me, what is appreciated is the ease and simplicity that the PSYCH-K® approach provides in transforming experiences that hold someone back and to be able to move forward.
