The picture is of some special items that I have been gifted or gathered and smile every day when I see them.
What do you smile at every day?
What brings you joy daily?
It seems that with the ongoing challenges of daily life and world events, many have struggled with allowing themselves joy and happiness.
We can all feel sadness, grief, frustration and even anger – however, staying in these feelings is not healthy and does not help anyone.
I have heard several times over the last couple of years that people feel guilty having joy, happiness, or feeling peace when so much strife is occurring.
Here is my view of this… in what way does guilt, sadness, frustration, grief and anger help those that are experiencing struggle, grief or such?
It does not help anyone especially you!
Everything is energy – your body, your thoughts, your feelings, music, your pets, rocks, plants, seashells… on and on.
The energy can be experienced as vibration or frequency and if not physically experienced then it happens whether you know it or not.
You know when you laugh it feels different than when you yell in anger… you know that you feel different when you listen to different types of music… you know this and more.
Realize that your thoughts and emotions are not just contained within your body but they are energy patterns that can be measured beyond your physical body.
When you are feeling or expressing guilt or anger for something that is occurring nearby or at a distance, you are sending out an energy pattern of guilt or anger like ripples in a pond from a pebble.
I suspect that is not what you intended. Perhaps you were intending to be empathetic or feel compassion for those struggling. However, feeling guilt or anger impacts you too which reduces your vitality and lowers your immune system.
If you want to be compassionate for others that is great – yet do it with the energy of kindness, love, and peace.
Those feelings will expand your personal kindness, love, and peace while rippling out to others in a way that helps them.
I invite you to find something to smile about every day… to truly laugh about… to feel grateful for.
