Do you go straight to the goal with focus or enjoy the gifts of nature along the way?
Recently when hiking in the Smoky Mountains on a trail that was a two-hour trek… we took almost four hours!
Sure we could have stayed single-focused and rushed to the waterfall and rushed back to the car… yet we chose to enjoy the journey and the gifts of nature along the way.
Took the time to see the trees, the tiny wildflowers, the butterflies, and the rock formations and enjoyed sitting at the waterfall.
In our daily world, often we get caught up with the ‘get er done’ approach. Finish the project, reach the goal, and complete the task yet does this allow for the joy in the journey to be experienced?
Certainly, we need to complete things however, are you singularly focused most of the time? Could you find a way to bring the joy of nature into your daily journey?
- Look up and watch the clouds for a minute. What can you see?
- Look down and notice the small flowers as you walk past.
- Enjoy the dandelion or even blow it in the wind!
- Fully listen to someone sharing with you – they will appreciate it.
- Stop and feel the sun.
- Stop and breathe the fresh air.
Rather than doing constantly… As stated, ‘We are human BEings, not human doings.’
Remember to BE and enjoy the journey!

If you have attended a PSYCH-K® workshop, then reflect, create the Goal Statements/ Beliefs to support what you desire, and Balance to integrate your new beliefs. Then take action to demonstrate your commitment.
In working with me, what is appreciated is the ease and simplicity that the PSYCH-K® approach provides in transforming experiences that hold someone back and to be able to move forward.
